About Artikals
A side project that grew a little bigger than planned, in a good way.
Artikals started because I had forty browser tabs open and still could not find the post I read last Tuesday about Redis connection pooling.
What we do
We pull technical writing from platforms that publish openly: DEV Community, freeCodeCamp, Hashnode, and similar feeds. You get a clean reading layout, working dark mode, and one URL to share with your team. The author keeps the credit, and we link back on every page.
What we skip
- No accounts or comment sections. Go debate on the original post.
- No feed built to keep you scrolling until 2am.
- No paywall on our end. We are not trying to replace the sources.
How it works
A build script pulls fresh articles into a JSON file. Next.js turns that into static pages. No database, no server state. When we redeploy, you get new stuff. Kept simple on purpose.
Who runs this
Small team, big RSS habit. We are developers who read more than we post. If you want to say hi or report a broken scrape, the contact page is the place.
